Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Rategyde (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not access or use the Platform. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Description of Service

Rategyde is a data aggregation platform that collects, organises, and displays Nigerian mutual fund performance data sourced from publicly available reports by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Nigeria and the Fund Managers Association of Nigeria (FMAN). The Platform also provides AI-powered features including fund comparisons, insights, chat assistance, and weekly market digests.

Use of the Platform

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You shall not:

• Use the Platform in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform, its servers, or any connected systems
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to extract data from the Platform without prior written permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform
• Reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content from the Platform without authorisation
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when using the Platform

Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, design elements, and software, is the property of Rategyde or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The underlying fund performance data is sourced from public regulatory reports and remains the property of the respective publishing bodies.

AI-Generated Content

The Platform uses artificial intelligence to generate analyses, comparisons, insights, and chat responses. AI-generated content is provided “as is” and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information. You acknowledge that AI-generated content does not constitute professional financial advice and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any financial decision.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rategyde and its operators, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or financial losses arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Rategyde and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, without notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease.
